SANDBOX is bringing a beach party to Big Penny Social.

Summer in London calls for sunshine, good company and a little escape from the everyday. Luckily, we’ve got just the place. Big Penny Beach Club is opening its doors for a sun-soaked celebration of music, performance and community, right here in Walthamstow.

The team behind The Muppette Show, This Is What You Call Collective, are back at Big Penny Social with SANDBOX, a beach party like no other. Expect an evening of dancing, cabaret, queer performance and all the seaside fun you could ask for, without needing to leave East London.

Come along for a frolic in the sand, a dance amongst the deckchairs and a night filled with playful surprises. From pirates and beach games to sequins, DJs and drag, SANDBOX is bringing the heat with a proper summer celebration.

Bring your friends, bring your best beach outfit and get ready to make some memories. We’ll bring the music, the atmosphere and the open doors.

Big Penny Social is a step-free accessible venue with accessible and gender-neutral bathrooms. Big Penny Beach Club has a step up to the sandpit, while the surrounding decking remains step-free.

The event will feature bright lights and loud music. Earplugs will be available from the bar for anyone who needs them.
