FINDING THE ARTIST'S WAY
Tuesday October 20 2026 7:00 PM - Tuesday January 19 2027 9:00 PM
FROM £30 PER WEEK
Learn Julia Cameron's transformative, The Artist's Way in full across twelve, weekly, artist-led, in-person, group sessions and discover powerful tools for unblocking creativity and creative ideas, whilst building a supportive network of fellow FLINTA* artists and creatives.
Please note: This edition of the course is open to queer and trans FLINTA* artists and creatives only, no cis-het women or allies. If you are a cis-het woman, please see tickets for the Tottenham class on Thursdays.
Participants will use Julia Cameron's effective and sustainable approaches to remove long-held blocks and negative beliefs, gain weekly accountability with peers, profoundly develop confidence and clarity, and will nourish a community of FLINTA* supporters and future collaborators for their next project.
Each weekly session lasts two hours total, with participants taking part in guided, individual, written exercises, individual sharing and group discussion, a reading of the chapter (read by the course leader - no reading required), plus optional tasks to be completed at home during the week, including Julia Cameron's renowned, Morning Pages.
This edition of Finding The Artist's Way is aimed at FLINTA* artists and creatives of all creative disciplines, including but not limited to; visual art, design, music, writing, performance, fashion, making, film, drag, photography, crafts, marketing, cultural planning, architecture, and more. Allies are not welcome to attend this edition of the course.
Finding The Artist's Way is led by a trans-masc, queer, disabled, musician, music producer, writer, and arts professional.
Finding The Artist's Way: Walthamstow will take place upstairs at the private venue, Flukes. The venue is fully wheelchair accessible, comfortable, well-lit, and private, with an amazing kitchen menu, pool tables, and a bar downstairs serving non-alcoholic and alcoholic drinks.
Finding The Artist's Way is an independent-run initiative by Plentiful Artists, and has now been running in-person and online for two years at various locations across London, building a community of ever-growing creatives.
Group size: Maximum 15 places.
You do not have to currently be 'working' in a creative field to book tickets. A typical class consists of award-winning writers, exhibiting painters, and people who may be working in different industries to their creative interests.
