Celebrating the voices & creativity of refugees and migrants in Walthamstow, 19 November 

Come hungry, curious & ready to celebrate!

We are excited to invite you to join refugee entrepreneurs, local artists, and organisations working with refugees for Threads of Home, a new community festival celebrating food, art, culture, and creativity.

The festival will feature stalls with items made by refugee led businesses.

Drop in throughout the day and make a pay what you can donation.

The evening will feature standup comedy performances by some talented new faces from 6pm followed by live music from Walthamstow based artist Ericka Janes, a singer-songwriter, a Sofar Sounds London artist, and former contestant on The Voice. 

Ericka kickstarted her career by sharing covers and original music on YouTube back in 2010. Her unique vocal tone has captivated audiences worldwide, leading Ericka to actively release EPs and singles, performing solo and as part of various projects on major stages and festivals. The highly anticipated debut full-length album, "Never Coming Back", was released in January 2025. Shortly after, Ericka put out an acoustic live EP "Garden Live" and is now working on her second album.
