Join us for a night of laughter at Big Penny Social in Walthamstow, featuring the hilarious Rosie Jones, Ed Gamble, Adam Hills, Gavin Lilley and Joshua Robertson. This event will  be BSL interpreted.

This special comedy fundraising event supports The Together Space, a charity known for its award-winning inclusive events for disabled and non-disabled children, young adults and their families. All ticket proceeds will go to The Together Space.

Enjoy an evening of top-tier stand-up comedy while helping The Together Space continue its mission of creating inclusive environments where everyone can play, exercise, connect and thrive together.

With Rosie’s trademark humour and an incredible cause, this promises to be a memorable night filled with laughs and community spirit.

Headliner - Rosie Jones
Rosie Jones has quickly made a household name for herself but is still striving for national treasure status. Her effusive energy has transformed her from a TV researcher into a must-see act on the UK comedy circuit.

Her cerebral palsy is central to her comedic perspective, making her one of the UK’s most successful comedians to talk about disability in their work from a first-hand point of view.

Her television credits are extensive including Live at the Apollo, 8 Out of 10 Cats, The Last Leg, Mock the Week and Taskmaster.

Ed Gamble
Stand-up comedian Ed Gamble is known as a regular on Mock the Week (BBC2) and for being the co-creator and co-host of the hugely successful mega-hit podcast Off Menu with James Acaster. The podcast was an instant success, leaping to the top of the charts when released in 2018, and has consistently topped the iTunes and UK Comedy Podcast charts since. It has had over 40 million downloads. He is also the co-presenter of Radio X’sSunday morning show with Matt Crosby. Ed was crowned the series nine champion of the award-winning television show Taskmaster (Dave/Channel 4), and his other television credits include 8 out of 10 Cats (Channel 4), Roast Battle (Comedy Central), The Apprentice: You’re Fired (BBC Two), Richard Osman’s House of Games (BBC Two), and Hypothetical (Dave). 

Adam Hills
Host of the award-winning Channel 4 series The Last Leg, Adam Hills is one of the most popular comedians in the UK. With 16 solo shows that have toured internationally, his combination of positive, uplifting comedy and effervescent spontaneity has seen him receive innumerable accolades, glowing reviews and a legion of fans around the planet.

Adam can also be seen in the critically acclaimed documentary Take His Legs, which followed the remarkable story of the Warrington Wolves Physical Disability Rugby League team. When Adam isn’t playing rugby league, he can also be seen regularly hosting Channel 4’s coverage of the Super League.

Adam was also awarded an MBE for services to Paralympic Sport and disability awareness in the 2022 New Year Honours List.

Gavin Lilley
Gavin Lilley, the well established deaf comedian, will be bringing his hilarious stories to you! Drawing on his experiences as a sign language user, a traveller and a weary father of three - his cringing moments of embarrassment and experiences during his encounters throughout his eventful life will make you chortle. He has performed all over the UK and Europe, bringing laughter to deaf and hearing alike. He has performed at hundreds of venues, namely the London Palladium, Summerhall Theatre at the Edinburgh Fringe and at the Helsinki Apollo. Grab this opportunity for a unique perspective of our diverse cultures (and these habits we’d rather keep to ourselves), through the masterful hands of Gavin Lilley!

Joshua Robertson
Joshua Robertson is a stand-up comedian, writer and actor. Joshua had a quad bike accident at 11 that left him in a coma for months and now lives with a physical disability. He was told he would never walk or talk again. Now, he is now a professional stand up, touring across the country and performing in the UK’s top venues. He has also supported Tom Stade and Shappi Khorsandi on Tour, and has performed to royalty at the Rose Theatre, Kingston. Joshua’s unique ability to tell his story combined with his witty humour is a combination that works perfectly, whether it’s on stage or on screen. Joshua also appeared on Rosie Jones’ Disability Comedy Extravaganza in 2023 which now can be viewed on UKTV Play.
