There are two curling colours. Pick your colour and split in to teams and get ready to curl.

Each team stands at the opposite end of the target.

On each round, each team member steps up to throw their colour stones, aiming for the target. The goal of the game is to get as close to the bullseye as possible and closer than the opposing team at the end of the round.

The fun of curling is working out how hard or how gentle to push to get your curling stone in to prime position!

Once each team have thrown their first curling stone, its up to you to work out how to throw to get your curling stones nearest to the bullseye. Will you keep a tight focus on the target in sight or play tactically to get your opponent's stones out the way? What's the festive period without a bit of tense competition?!
 

SCORES AND WHO WINS

Once all the curling stones have been thrown, its time to determine the winning team for the round

The team with the closest stone scores points for each stone closer to the centre than their opponent’s closest stone. For example, if the red team have two stones on the bullseye, the yellow team have one stone on the inner ring of the target and the red team have another stone on the outer ring, the red team would win the round with two points.

Play multiple rounds with each team member stepping up, at the end of the hour tally up the scores on the score card to determine the champions
