ABOUT BIG PENNY
Big Penny Social is a community and event hospitality company based in Walthamstow. Our flagship venue, Big Penny Social, embodies everything we are about. It’s a pub, arts centre and town square rolled into one - a huge building that brings friends, family and the community together. Open every day for a pint or a pizza, there’s always something going on thanks to our programme of entertainment and events; from markets to comedy, live music, parties, and everything in between. In mid 2025 we also opened Flukes, a stylish competitive socialising space within Big Penny Social.

ABOUT THE ROLE
The Senior Social & Content Manager owns the creative direction, content creation and growth of our social channels for Big Penny Social and Flukes, with a primary focus on Instagram and TikTok.

This is a senior, hands-on creative role with real autonomy. You’ll set direction, test ideas and make decisions, with support from the Head of Brand & Marketing. While you’ll be highly involved in filming, editing and posting content, you’ll also shape the bigger picture — defining how our brands show up day to day.

The role is primarily focused on organic content, with responsibility for leading creative alignment across paid and organic social, working closely with the Head of Marketing and our paid social agency.

Above all, this role defines our social voice — building community, driving engagement, supporting ticket sales and bringing the personality of Big Penny Social and Flukes to life online.
